Princess Christina, Mrs. Magnuson, LoK av KMO (Christina Louise Helena, born 3 August 1943) is the sister of Carl XVI Gustaf, the current King of Sweden. She was born at Haga Palace outside Stockholm. She is the fourth child of Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Västerbotten, and Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, and granddaughter of King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden. She does business as Christina Magnuson and is commonly known thus.
She met her future husband at a lunch in Stockholm in 1961. Princess Christina's engagement to Tord Gösta Magnuson (born Stockholm, 7 April 1941), son of Lennart Magnuson and wife Gerda Klemming, was announced in 1974. The couple married on 15 June 1974 in the Palace Church of the Royal Palace of Stockholm. As a result of her unequal marriage, she lost her style of Royal Highness and received the courtesy title of Princess Christina, Mrs. Magnuson. In 1973 she was given the Order of the Elephant, which entitles her to the style of Her Excellency.
Magnuson lives in Stockholm together with her husband. She is an active member of the Royal Family and performs official engagements on behalf of the Royal Family, attends official dinners etc., and holds many honorary positions and protectorships as well.
She was Chairman of the Swedish Red Cross for 9 years.

On December 19, 2010, it was announced that Princess Christina had been diagnosed with breast cancer the previous spring and had already undergone surgery three times to combat it.
